Skipped school today!Hooray! ( eh don't think i pon school horhs. I never! ) Haha. I'm too guai to do such a thing. Is i got special permission!:) LOL. Went there to attend sme chinese cultural immersion presentation. And there are two other schools that worked with us- Maris Stella and Pu Yuan Gao Ji Zhong Xue ( frm shanghai ). And guess what. Our school's presentation is a total disaster. We were so overtime! AND WORSE STILL WE DRAGGED EVERYONE WITH US. In the end we everything overtime and have lesser rehearsal time. Sighs. Throw our school's face. And feel so apoplogetic towards everyone. ***** Firstly, there was this ice breaking game called DA FENG CHUI. And i seriously sucks at it. Because my reaction is very slow. All those bombastic commands cant seem to reach my mind in time and convey the right actions to my body. So being a very slow person, i always ended up being the one with no place to sit D: I'm so sad. Ok lah, actually not really. So after threee times i got punished. Great. At first someone suggested to sing. Someone suggested to dance. THEN SOMEONE SUGGEST TO DO CHICKY DANCE. Wah very paiseh leh! But being a good sport, i did it anyway. I sacrificed myself-_- ( Oh yea so wei da! ) ***** After that got into a group and china students sugggested that we bring about the overall presentation by changing the lyrics of some songs into our main idea of the presentation. So it wont be boring, like PPT. Ingenious. So Cheryl and I went to help with changing lyrics and stuff. The songs that we chose were JJ's chi bang, Jay's ju hua tai and shou qian shou. LOOL. So we were in charge of changing ju hua tai into some nonya based song. -.- Then its like damn funny lah. keep on laugh and laugh and laugh. LOL. Then there will only be 4 people presenting so i decided to volunteer myself. Haha. So fun to sing the wierd edited songs which totally sounds so crap-.- Rehearse rehearse rehearse. Oh and thanks cheryl! For helping me to open voice! Love u lots lots:) ***** Then realised that nanyang girls school very pretty~! The buildings all look so welly designed and from some angles it looks like some taiwan/korea schools that you see on tv. One word- WOW. Haha. And and and and and!! There's this recording room! It's like a special room used for filming and stuff where u can adjust camera change camera views, adjust volume and many more! And live telecast of recording to whole school. It's like so so so cool! Totally loved it. But the lights are very bright and warm when they are being shined on you for filmin. But guess that's neccessary. Totally love that school. Feel like transferring over. Nah. Just kidding. ***** So I was to sing ju hua tai with this guy call tinjun from MSHS. LOL. During practice all sounds nice. But actual very screwed up. Plus i so nervous and warm and i set off on a key that was too high for me. So in the end i went off tune D: But who cares. Screwed jiu screwed bah. Since the rehearsal time so short and its not a singing competition, i dont mind. If it is singing competition i will cry. Hahaha. Besides, if it is singing competition i will be practicing till im so sick of the song till i cant go off tune of off pitch or anything. Yea. But whatever lah. Hahah. Its like so funny. When we get out of the recording room we were like saying we purposely one. Sing off pitch puposely one, forget take script purposely one, give short answers also purposely LOL!! Its like so purpose la. Then in the end we stilll got a prize. ( cos everyone also can get prize! -.- ) Haha. Not bad. ***** Then slack around a while then go off le. By then it's already like 4+ going to 5. MSHS left first then there's this guy Aaron gave me so many lollipops lol! So joke. Wah want hai me get tooth decay ah! Haha! Everything end le but i very happy although exhausted:) ***** Summary of whole of today: Lol i am very, very happy to be able to have so much fun with so many people, be it AHS, MSHS or the shanghai students. ( not because i can skip lessons ) First time have so much fun in a day with so many new friends. Definitely, i have gained something from this presentaion. Groupwork. Friends. Cultural immersion. Through the discussions and everything, group work is very important. Nevertheless, this presentation also made me gain a lot of new friends:) Also i want to thank cheryl a lot. For everything:) And of course, learnt a lot about peranakans culture^^ Shall post more next time. |
